Email: Gmail and Outlook
What osmos can do with your mail, and the 'Google hasn't verified this app' screen.
Connect Gmail or Outlook and osmos can search, read, summarise and draft. Ask "What did the landlord say?" or "Draft a reply to Ben saying Thursday works". Drafts are shown to you first; nothing is sent unless you say so.
The Google warning screen
Gmail is connected through a partner service while Google's own verification of osmos is in progress, so Google may show a screen saying the app isn't verified. Continuing is safe: the permission is the same as any mail app, and you can revoke it from your Google account at any time. This screen goes away once verification completes.
Limits
- osmos reads mail that's in your mailbox. It doesn't get mail your provider has already filtered elsewhere.
- Several accounts can be connected; searches cover all of them.
- Sending from a connected account requires that account's send permission. If drafting is off for an account, osmos will write the reply in chat for you to copy instead.
