Watch live, take over, give back
Seeing what osmos is doing and stepping in.
When the computer is working you'll see a card in chat with each step as it happens. Watch live opens a live view of the screen. Take over gives you the mouse and keyboard; osmos waits. Give back control hands it back and osmos carries on with the original task. Stop ends the job.
osmos hands over on its own for logins, two-factor codes, CAPTCHAs and payment pages. You'll get a notification saying what it needs. Do that step, then give control back.
Good to know
- The live view uses your phone's keyboard; there's a button to type on the desktop.
- If nobody hands control back within about half an hour, the job stops and the machine pauses.
- Watching live on a finished job wakes the machine up and counts as computer time until you close the view.
