Minutes, limits and cost

How computer time is measured and what caps apply.

Computer time is measured while the machine is running, whoever is driving it: the agent working, you holding control, or the screen being watched. Between jobs the machine is paused and costs nothing.

  • Minutes come with your plan: 120 a month on Plus, 300 on Pro and 600 on Max, and they reset with your credits. The free trial includes 30 one-time minutes. See Core → Usage.
  • A daily cap of 120 minutes in any 24 hours.
  • Per job: about 25 minutes and a step budget. A job that runs out stops and tells you where it got to.
  • Credits: computer time also uses credits at cost, on top of the model's own thinking. A typical two-minute job is a few credits.

When minutes run out, the desktop and Watch live pause until they reset. osmos will say so rather than fail silently.
