Routines: scheduled work
Briefings, checks and summaries that run without you, and how results reach you.
A routine is a job osmos runs on a schedule: a morning briefing at 7:30, a Friday spend review, a daily check of a site. Set them up in Core → Routines by describing the job and when it should run. Times are your local time.
Results arrive as a card in chat and, if you allowed it, a notification. You can also add the Routines widget to your home screen to see what's next.
Good to know
- Check now runs a routine immediately without changing its schedule.
- A routine that couldn't run (a connection was down, or you were out of credits) shows the reason on its row.
- Routines use credits each time they run. A daily routine costs roughly what a few chat replies cost, more if it searches a lot.
- Routines pause when your credits run out and resume when they refresh.
