Active Agents: what a follow-up actually does
The promise, the schedule, the checks, and where to see it all.
A follow-up is a commitment osmos makes and keeps on its own: I'll check with Ben on Friday at 9 whether the copy is done; if not, I'll draft an email for you to send. Core → Active Agents lists every follow-up in flight with its next check.
On the check date osmos looks for evidence (a reply, a document, a calendar change), then does what it promised: reminds you, drafts a nudge, or reports what it found. Each run is written into the follow-up's own conversation so you can see exactly what it looked at and decided.
Steering it
Reply in the follow-up's conversation to change the plan: "Check on Monday instead", "Use WhatsApp, not email", "Just tell me, don't draft anything". Check now runs it immediately; Cancel stops it.
Limits
- osmos only knows about things it can see. If Ben replied by phone, tell osmos, or it will nudge him.
- A follow-up that keeps finding nothing will report that and complete, rather than chasing forever.
- Drafts need a connected account with sending enabled. Without one, the nudge is written in chat for you to copy.
