Action items: Chase, Remind me, and follow-ups from a note
What each button on an action item does.
Every action item in a meeting summary has an owner and, often, a due date. The buttons do different things:
- Remind me (items that are yours): osmos checks on the date and reminds you with the context if it isn't done.
- Chase (items that are someone else's): osmos checks on the date and, if there's no sign it's done, drafts a nudge for you to send, by email or WhatsApp, or just tells you.
- Follow up (items with no clear owner): osmos checks for any sign it happened and reports back.
Before anything is created you see exactly what osmos will do, when it will check, and what it will be told. Change the date or the channel there, then confirm. The follow-up then has its own conversation, reachable from the note and from Core → Active Agents.
osmos drafts nudges; it doesn't send them behind your back. A draft appears for you to approve.
